FEBRUARY 2021

February was a very quiet month as is the norm now, we are still not seeing any owners here as the borders are still closed ,the islands are only accessible to residents and priority business people. It is looking likely to stay this way till June /July time.

The coronavirus figures are still on a downward trend but have leveled out over the past month so we are not out of the woods yet, the government are considering tightening our restrictions over the Easter period with a 10pm curfew back in place as opposed to the 11pm we have now, The hope is that after Easter we will be low enough to go into level 1 in Tenerife and heading towards Summer possibly welcoming some tourists back to the Islands, this obviously depends on corona virus figures around the world.

The weather has been changeable with a little more rain and some overcast days but still quite warm, some days 23 to 25 degrees.

As I said in last months blog the AGM planned for May will not go ahead as we are still restricted to small numbers in meetings, A new date will be announced as soon as we are allowed to hold meetingsĀ  again .

I do hope that things carry on improving wherever you are and you keep safe, stick to the rules and get your virus jab and we look forward to seeing you all again later in the year.

Paul
