October 2026 update

Presidents comments.

Considering its been School half term in the UK during October, its been very quiet on the complex.

The work has started on the re-tiling of the pool solarium, passes to use the pool at Dinastia are available from the office 10am to 11am Monday to Friday as per the notices. You only need 1, for the duration of the work, if you have a VV licence leave it in the apartment for your next guest to use, also make sure to follow the pool rules for that complex. You have the use of Good fellas pool bar for drinks and food from 12 noon.

Complex news/ issues/updates.

We have had a problem with a contract cleaner for a while, although very polite her work rate wasn’t up to standard and the areas on A and B blocks were not looking as they should, it needed someone who could work fast and get the job done, it took a few weeks to get a replacement from the company, but now we have a new girl, and so far so good, but we will be monitoring the situation, and listening to any comments from owners.

I had a very long text from an owner the other evening, she was very angry, she has had to replace 3 door mats due to cats p+++ing and sh+++ng on them, she even had a video showing 2 of them roaming freely and running into an apartment that had the door open, we are going to see what can be done to stop this ongoing problem, at our next committee meeting.

We had a set of keys and a wallet handed in that had been dropped on the complex, both were reunited with their owners, if you have a similar problem at anytime keep an eye on the notice boards or call the Emergency day number.

We have been told that we have a Wolf on the complex !!!, I don’t know if its true, Ive not seen it or a dog that looks like a Wolf, we are looking into this.

We had to call Otis out again, as we had a call about grease dripping from the ceiling of C block lift, engineers attended and cleaned it off apparently its grease melting from the cables, due to the warm weather.

The Swimming pool.

The pump for the small children’s pool, that controls the mix for the PH levels has been playing up, its working and the PH levels are fine, but its something that’s going to need attention in the future.

A large bore plastic pipe that circulates water around the pool sprung a leak in the pool room, it was quite old, and was replaced easily by Nicanor.

The pool is now closed

Emergency night / Disturbance.

I had a comment from someone on the complex that our security man knocked on his door twice to tell him to be quiet on his terrace, and that he was quite abrupt, it was 2.15am in the early hours, its his job to tell people to be quiet after 11pm, that’s what we pay him for.
