NOVEMBER 2021

This year has nearly passed and it has been a very challenging year and a very sad one for many of us who have lost loved ones to this terrible pandemic and other causes.

Unfortunately later in the month the virus numbers started to rise in all the islands and last week we went into tier 2 along with Lanzarote, this restricts numbers allowed even more in restaurants and bars, but as in the rest of Europe and the UK the numbers keep rising and we are keeping our fingers crossed that we don’t have to go into tier 3.

As you will probably have seen in the media, new regulations have been bought in by the Spanish as well as many other Governments, you now have to be double jabbed to enter Spain and you must have a negative test to travel back to UK and other countries, it makes you wonder when this will all end.

The weather was still good through NovemberĀ  the nights are getting cooler but still T shirt weather during the day. We are experiencing beautiful sunsets at the moment with the skies turning red when the sun goes down.

It has been good to see even more owners coming out to their apartments after nearly 2 years but we think things will remain fairly quiet over Christmas and New year due to the new restrictions.

Yet again we have had big problems with a few dog owners who allow their dogs to defecate on the complex and don’t clear it up, we are keeping a good eye on this and if we can ascertain who the culprits are we will take police action against them. The garages are not a toilet for dogs. We must ask again if you rent out your apartment long term please have a no pets rule in the contract otherwise you could end up with a tennant who is a bad dog owner and the community would be expecting the apartment owner to take responsibility and resolve the situation which would be difficult without a no pets clause in the contract.

Please all keep safe and let’s all hope next year will be much better,

HaveĀ  a lovely Christmas and a happy new year,

Paul
